Course Goal / Objective

To try to understand societies in their objective and concrete conditions in terms of time and space; To explain the factors and direction of change that societies are going through in history; To identify similarities and reach generalizations from these explanations made on different societies; All this to enable people to have an impact on the process of change of their society. So, It is aimed that students can understand social changes at local and global levels and solve basic social problems.

Course Content

Studies on patterns of social relations, social interaction and daily life culture for a society; Using a variety of empirical research and critical analysis methods to develop knowledge about social order, acceptance and change, or social evolution.
