Course Goal / Objective
The aim of the course will be to examine the urban culture that emerges through the appearance of the narrative in various media. The aim of the course will be to examine the urban culture that emerges through oral history and culture, biography, autobiographies, and to examine the formation and representation of personal and/or social memory by focusing on memory and narratives.
Course Content
In this course, the city, memory and narrative will be discussed. The question of how cities and people connect with the past reflects on the present, the place of the concept of memory in social sciences, will be discussed in urban contexts through narratives and memories as a way of remembering.
