Course Goal / Objective
Learns the scientific developments and applications of plant breeding and genetics in modern plant breeding
Course Content
From the genetics of Mendel to the present, the developments in genetic science and the place and importance of these developments in plant breeding, the methods and techniques used in plant genetics and breeding, molecular genetic methods and techniques, their application in plant breeding programs, future projections in plant breeding and genetics
