Course Goal / Objective
To enable students to identify and analyze the distinctive features of alternative/innovative language teaching approaches, methods, and techniques, and to develop the ability to make informed decisions about the suitability of methods and techniques for English language teaching, considering students' needs.
Course Content
To develop students' skills in defining, analyzing, comparing, applying, and synthesizing in topics such as alternative/innovative approaches, methods, and techniques in English language teaching, foreign language learning theories, the roles of teachers and students in language teaching, and the role of technology in language teaching/learning.

LO07 | Students define the characteristics of methods such as Problem-Based Learning, Whole Language Education, and Holistic Approaches, explain their differences and similarities, and develop the ability to decide which one or more to use and how, based on their students' needs. |
