Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to provide architecture students with the ability to comment and discuss facility management and approaches, building costs and construction costs, construction usage costs in standards, benchmarking, modern and time-sensitive real estate business management, acceptable business costs, and the effects of cost factors on the business process.
Course Content
The content of this course consists of the concept and scope of facility management, market potential development for facility management, real estate, real estate, facility and resource management concepts, building costs and construction costs, construction usage costs in standards, benchmarking, modern and time-sensitive real estate business management, acceptable business costs, effects of cost factors on the business process, analysis of main real estate business models and facility management requirements, facility management in Turkey, the role of companies, international facility management institution standards and Turkey applications.
