Course Goal / Objective

To comprehend the formation of Ahl al-Sunnah, its mentality, and its representation in different regions and time periods from an integrative, impartial and descriptive perspective.

Course Content

The issue of naming Ahl al-Sunnah wa'l-Jama'ah; The formation of Ahl al-Sunnah wa'l-Jama'ah; Representatives of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah; Hadith Fans; The formation, history and views of hadith supporters; Ash'arism; The formation, history and views of Ash'arism; Maturidiism; The formation and history of Maturidism
