Course Goal / Objective

Systematic Entomology and Melecular studies

Course Content

Overview of molecular biology techniques and their use in Systematic Entomology; DNA sequencing and arrangement of sequences, evaluation of DNA sequences using different analysis methods, determination of species boundaries and examination of methods used in species determination and phylogenetic analysis. Using and examining different analysis package programs.
