Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is; to provide students with information about the historical and theoretical development of the script text, to get acquainted with the basic principles and stages of scriptwriting, and to understand what the scenario is in terms of both formal and content.
Course Content
Narrative and screenplay narrative, historical development of dramatic structure, historical and theoretical development of script text, 3-Act scenario structure, hero's journey, American and French screenwriting style, logline, synopsis, treatment, separation script, shooting script, types of storytelling in script structure, shooting, scene, sequence structure.
