Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to provide students with qualifications on the properties of natural gas, LNG, CNG, pressure reduction and measurement stations, natural gas boilers, installation construction rules, cathodic protection and electrofusion welding technique, leakage tests and chimneys.

Course Content

Physical and chemical properties of natural gas, combustion properties of natural gas, LNG, CNG, natural gas from source to use, pressure reduction and measurement stations, natural gas burners according to capacity, natural gas boilers, boilers according to mounting style, gas delivery points, natural gas installation rules, cathodic protection, grounding, joining pipes, electro fusion welding technique, leakage tests and commissioning, natural gas meters, chimneys, individual and central system natural gas appliances.
