Course Goal / Objective

It is aimed to teach students the basic concepts of epidemiology, to ensure that students have knowledge about the factors affecting the emergence, transmission and spread of diseases that they may encounter during both their education and professional lives, and to teach what needs to be done for disease control and eradication.

Course Content

It includes the purpose and sections of epidemiology, transmission and spread of infections, types of infections, structure of animal populations, distribution of diseases, types and stages of epidemiological research, health schemes, zoonotic diseases, control and eradication of diseases.
