Course Goal / Objective

To enable students to demonstrate advanced English proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing within academic contexts. To develop the 4Cs (critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity) of 21st Century Learning, which are core skills that students will need in their academic and social lives. To raise students' awareness of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. To provide opportunities for students to analyze global issues, evaluate sustainability-related research, and identify complexities, perspectives, and biases. To develop students' collaboration skills in groups consisting of different disciplines; to enable them to make presentations focused on analysis, synthesis, and evaluation, and to write work reports. To develop students' social and academic skills.

Course Content

EAP 100 is an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course that will help students develop their English language skills through the 21st-century core skills of critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity, as well as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
