Course Goal / Objective

In occupational safety, it is the ability to select and apply statistical quality control methods and problem-solving techniques, especially in order to determine the possible causes of occupational accidents, the magnitude of risks, prevention and reduction measures, etc.

Course Content

The purposes and rules of statistical quality control techniques and scientific problem solving techniques (PDCA cycle, Brainstorming, 5W and 1H Technique, Cause-Effect (Fishbone) Diagram, Pareto Analysis, Tree Diagram, Flow Diagram, Nominal Group Technique, Histograms etc.) aimed at determining the reasons/root causes of the problems (diseases, work accidents etc.) experienced/observed in work areas (factory, construction site, hospital etc.) and determining the precautions to prevent work accidents before they occur, and sample applications. Behavior-oriented safety management in the field of work safety.
