Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to teach students laboratory techniques used in viral disease diagnosis, help them evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of these methods, and emphasize the importance of diagnostic virology in veterinary medicine.
Course Content
This course covers fundamental diagnostic techniques used in veterinary virology. It includes serological tests, molecular techniques, cell culture methods, and electron microscopy. Additionally, next-generation technologies and field-applicable rapid tests for diagnosing viral diseases will be examined.
