General Information
The aim of Master Program of The Fishing and Seafood Processing Technology is doing some research on fishing techniques, selectivity of fishing gears, sustainable fisheries management , processing of aquatic plants and animals, quality, safety and the quality control analyses of seafood, nutritional components of seafood, biotechnology and nanotechnology applications for seafood and to educate graduates to specialize in a field and to be able to follow recent developments in this field and have the ability to apply his/her knowledge. In this program 10 Professors, 1 Associate Professors and 1 Assistant Professors currently work.

Feature & Definition
In this program, there are total 47 graduate courses. Lessons can be taken from other disciplines according to the student's deficiency and interest. In addition to that, students carry out specialization courses, thesis studies and seminar courses with their advisors. There are 7 research laboratories in which student practices and research are conducted.

Goals
The aim of this program is training of researchers and experts to investigate and evaluate national and international information and methods in their field.
Objectives
The purpose of the program is to enable the student to gain the ability of accessing, compiling, evaluating and interpreting information by doing scientific research.
Specific Admission Requirements
The students can apply to this program providing ALES score, grade point averages and interview in accordance with the regulations of “Çukurova University Graduate Education and Examination Committee” and can pursue their education in their or in related fields.

The students who have successfully accomplished this program gain the master’s degree of Fishing and Seafood Processing Technology.
