PhD is available in all sub-fields above. Language of education and instruction is Turkish.

Goals

The aim of this programme is educating a science person who can use the scientific disciplines at sciences of philosophy and religion with comparative and interdisciplinary understanding, add new practical and theoretic knowledges to area of sciences of philosophy and religion, use scientific methods and technicals and finally share the knowledges as social and institutıonal which he has.

Objectives

For the postgraduate students of the institute: 1. Determining the research areas related to theology-related disciplines including philosophy and religion studies. 2. Specifying the necessary knowledge and information sources and facilitating the data collection processes. 3. Facilitating the ways for the students to gain the reasoning abilities with regards to the evaluation of the suitability of the obtained information for the research problem. 4. Helping the students to acquire skills on how to conduct research and produce results based on scientific measurements. 5. Guiding the students to have the ability to communicate with related bodies and share their knowledge and findings with those organisations. 6. Educating the students on the pillars of conducting trustworthy studies based on scientific morality principles.

Candidates who will apply for doctorate programs must meet the requirements of ÇUKUROVA UNIVERSITY GRADUATE EDUCATION AND TEACHING REGULATIONS. For the Regulation:

The graduates of the Philosophy and Religious Sciences program are able to fulfill their duties in the field of education and religious services in a more equipped way and have the opportunity to work as a research assistant and lecturer in the faculties of theology, science and literature, education, social and humanities.
