Course Goal / Objective

To inform mining engineering students about hydrogeological conditions in surface and underground mining.

Course Content

Introduction, development and geology of groundwater/ Hydrogeological circulation and origin of groundwater, distribution and existing of groundwater on ground/ Groundwater movement/ Groundwater table and its variation/ Aquifer and types/ Aquifer rock types/ Encountering of groundwater and solution problems in mining area, drainage system for water and groundwater in mining area.
