Course Goal / Objective
Gain basic information about the disinfection theory, disinfection with chlorine, chlorine dioxide, ozone and UV, design of disinfection facilities
Course Content
Characteristics of an ideal disinfectant, disinfection methods, disinfectant mechanism, disinfection with chlorine, chlorine dioxide, ozone and UV, dechlorination and design of disinfection facilities are taught with the help of lectures, applications, and examples.
