Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce the theory and practice of environmental impact assessment, the systematic identification and evaluation of the potential effects on the environment of proposed projects.

Course Content

Overview of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), EIA Process and Legislation, Environmental Indices and Indicators for Describing Affected Environments, Methods for Impact Identification and Prediction, Preparing an EIA Report, Reviewing and Evaluating an EIA Report.
