Course Goal / Objective

The purpose of this course the student explaining the importance of water and water resources, including water resources and watersheds to provide the necessary infrastructure to ensure sustainable management of the development of watershed management plans to teach

Course Content

Environmental components and features of the basins. Water quality assessments. Characteristics of ecosystems in the basin. The concept of integrated watershed management, the strategic importance of watersheds. Use and misuse as a result of beneficial uses of the basins and discharged into the natural system, the concept of waste and pollution. Watershed management, data collection and evaluation. Watershed management, decision-making process, socio-economic structure and public participation, development of management policies. Development of a watershed management plan.
