Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to provide to Environmental engineers understand the basic principles of ecology, population and community features, natural cycles, environmental problems, and to provide understanding of ecological problems of humanity, orientation for solutions, to improve the awareness of nature conservation.
Course Content
Definition of Ecology and Environmental Sciences, Earth´s historical change, and the effect changes on the formation of species, some of the basic theories and concepts in ecology, abiotic factors and effects on organisms, biotic factors, and structural properties of Population, Population Dynamics, System, open system, closed system, isolated system and their models , Community and community properties, and the distribution of the world´s great ecosystems, the ecological problems of human, nature conservation, environmental protection and regulation approaches, Sustainable world, sustainable development, natural resources, a common future.
