Course Goal / Objective
Experimental measurements, sensitivity, resolution, error, uncertainty, understanding and application of the concepts of precision and accuracy. Measurement of basic quantities used in Mechanical Engineering. Concept of calibration
Course Content
Basic concepts of measurement. Dynamical analysis of measurement. Statistical and uncertainty analysis of experimental data. Data acquisiton and processing. Pressure, flow rate, temperature and forve measurement techniques.
