Course Goal / Objective
To teach basic concepts of rehabilitation engineering.
Course Content
Definitions and basic concepts of rehabilitation engineering.The basic principles of orthopedics and rehabilitation, basic patient disabilities, auxiliary equipment and system design, testing and implementation, parameters affecting design, ergonomics, physical and mental parameters that affect the user interface, security, economy, reliability and aesthetics.
