Course Goal / Objective

Generate a general understanding about the relationships between basic concepts of education, teaching profession, education and other institutions.

Course Content

Basic concepts of education, teaching profession and professionalisation conditions, school and classroom environment, foundations of education, new trends in the twenty-first century, mass communication and education, the problems of Turkish education system

LO08 Explains the cognitive processes in Information Processing Theory . Explains how to use the information processing theory to classroom teachers.
LO09 Explains the importance of Constructivist Learning Theory in the educational system.
