Course Goal / Objective
Investigating how children acquire language provides information about the nature of language in general and the processes ot the brain. Studies on this subject also give insights into second language acquisition and learning. For that reason, this course aims at studying language e acquisition based on theories of language acquisition theories and acquisition of language in various contexts.
Course Content
The content of this course includes the discussion of views on language acquisition based on theories of language and cognition. Acquisition of phonology, morphology, syntax, and lexicon second language acquisition multilingual acquisition language acquisition in nonnormal contexts are also covered.
