Course Goal / Objective

Scrutinized the media and community relations in this course, a variety of mass-media approaches in the multidisciplinary field of communication studies will be discussed along with the location of the mass media in the center.

Course Content

Definitions of mass communication, media systems and institutions, the use of technology, social, cultural theory, audience research, strengths and limitations, such as domain theories will be examined in the historical development of the basic theory and concepts; students will be introduced to new approaches in mass communication studies.

LO05 Has the knowledge and skills to use explain how it works in every aspect of communication in different cultures, and on the major means of communication in individual, group, institutional communication.
