Course Goal / Objective

To teach the students, the importance of responsibility of the tasks they will undertake during their working life after graduation. To direct students to reflect their citizenship awareness to their working habits. To educate graduates who have acquired knowledge to solve the ethical problems

Ethical concepts and its importance in human life. Ethical theories. Ethical standarts and universial principles. Fundamental principles of ethics. Ethical models. Ethics in practice. Ethics in engineering. Engineering Ethics Codes , Honesty and responsibility in engineering. Responsibility for the society. Communal and social dimensions of engineering applications. Responsibility for nature and environment. Responsibility for profession and colleague. Responsibility for worker and customer. Ethical principles in mechanical engineering. Legal regulations.
