Course Goal / Objective
Alternating Current (AC) machines, structures, operating principles to grasp, induction machines and synchronous machines gain the ability to make calculations for different working patterns, choosing to have knowledge of the machine to be used in practice.
Course Content
Content of this course are; structure and running of asynchronous machines, apposite EMF in stator, slip and equivalent circuits components of asynchronous machines, power, efficiency and torque, drive analysis methods of asynchronous machines, structure, types, working principals of synchronous machines, EMF in stator and harmonics, analysis of equivalent circuits, regulation methods, analysis of parallel operation of alternators, , active and reactive load share, analysis of excitation current effects in no load and full load synchronous motors.
