Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to explain public debt as an alternative method of financing budget deficits, its managed and public debt in Turkey.
Course Content
General information about public debts, differences between tax and borrowing, differences between public and private debts, causes of public debt, legal endurance and limit of public debt, classification of public debt, characteristics of domestic and external debt, Types of foreign debts in Turkey, Turkish debt financing from international financial institutions, debt management and debt management factors, extraordinary debt management operations, reduction and ending of public debt, economic effects of public debt and social effects of borrowing
