Course Goal / Objective

Selection and use of appropriate hardware in the Treatment systems.

Course Content

Equipment used in treatment plants operating mechanisms, features and choices / Screens, Crushers, Mixing equipment, Aerotion equipment, Diffusers, Blowers, Surface Aerators,Pure oxygen systems, Dosing Systems, Pumps, Membranes, Treatment and control of the use of force Systems, Control Panels.

LO01 The working mechanisms of the hardware used in wastewater treatment plants, grids, and defines the properties of mill.
LO02 Defines and selects ventilation equipment, diffusers, blowers. Surface aerators learn equipment used in pure oxygen systems.
LO03 Identify and select dosing systems, pumps, membranes, skimmers. Learns mixing equipment.
LO04 Learns the usage areas and types of treatment equipment in the flow charts of wastewater treatment plants.
