Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the physical and chemical properties, structures and application areas of coordination compounds.

Nomenclature of coordination complexes, Angular overlap model I, Angular overlap model II, Electron Spectrum of coordination compounds I, Electron Spectrum of coordination compounds II, Crystal Field Theory, Ligand Field Theory, Molecular Orbital Theory, Valance Bond Theory, Organometallic Chemistry.
