Course Goal / Objective

The aim of the course is to make students aware technology of cage hatchery. In the first part, planning of cage systems will be explain. The second part included mechanization of cage systems. The course is illustrated by examples which are drawn from different areas.

Course Content

Cage units, planning the cages, production planning, Site selection for cage culture, Nets, manufacturing materials for netting, equipping. feeding technology, Mooring systems floating and security technology, Sizing and harvesting technology.
