Course Goal / Objective

The purpose of this course is to understand the basic principles of medical terminology, is to gain necessary knowledge, skills and qualifications for distinguishing, correctly pending pronunciation, writing and using the medical terms related to navigation system, respiratory system, gastrointestinal tract, central nervous system, circulatory system, the reproductive system and other organs,

Course Content

Knowledge:Students have the theoretical knowledge related to medical terminology. The basic elements of medical terminology spelling, pronunciation and meaning are known by students.Skill: Medical terms related to the elderly and elderly health are understanded by students. The students will able to assess the situation by understanding medical terms related to the body systems. The students will able to evaluate critically gained basic level of knowledge and skills in the field of medical terminology and will able to have awareness of lifelong learning. Professional qualification: The Students will able to use sufficiently language of medical terminology as a common language on communication with both of their colleagues and other health personnels in the health sector and the health institutions.
