Course Goal / Objective
To introduce different aspects of communication and multi-dimensional relationship between politics and communication, to explain and to discuss the historicity of communication methods. To be able to synthesize the information in the field of politics and communication and to educate professionals who are in the field of theory and practice about political communication.
Course Content
Explaining and discussing the concept of political communication, the concepts related political communication, developmental stages of political communication within its historical background and forms of political communication. In addition to that, forms of political discourse, political psychology, politics-media relations, media democracy and political campaigns will be examined.
