Course Goal / Objective
Determining the factors affecting the quality of the horticultural products from the production to the presentation at dinner table and ensuring their management. The formation of quality consciousness and the acquisition of the importance of risk management concept. To be able to put forward the solution proposal for the improvement and improvement of the current situation by examining agricultural practices in our country and the world
Course Content
Basic concepts related to quality and total quality / Technological developments related to quality control in the production and marketing of horticultural products / Food safety / Examination of existing institutions and establishments in Turkey and around the world that determine the standards that should be applied in the presentation of horticultural products to conservation and consumption / Risk analysis and critical control points (HACCP), comparison of GLOBALGAP applications and their sampling
