Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to protect students Management and basic information about ecotourism, Approach and applications.

Course Content

History of nature conservation, principles of conservation of nature, classification of protected areas in Turkey, national and international classifications, endemic, endangered and commercial species, creation of a fauna species list, extraction of distribution maps, identification of species to be protected and monitored (target species) Identification, planning and monitoring of indicator types, Monitoring of target species, Identification of critical ecosystems and specific sites, Establishment of strategic objectives and management plan subdivision, Management of rare and endemic plants.
