Course Goal / Objective

The agricullturally importance of hard shell fruits like almond, hazelnut, walnut, basic princples of breesing hard shell fruits and hard shell fruits phisyology are learned.

Course Content

Ecological request of hard shell fruits like almond, hazelnut, pistachio, types, rootstocks, and special breeding techniques about species, cultural practises are explained. Systemacis of har shell fruits, production and economy of the hard shell fruit on the world and Turkey, pomological classification, morphological and biological properties, ecological requests, breeding techniques, garden establishing, harvesting and fruit conservation, subjects are dealed.
