Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to enable students to recognize biological risk factors that may be encountered in microbiological analysis laboratories, to understand laboratory biosafety levels, to use personal protective equipment correctly, and to effectively perform hygiene, disinfection, and sterilization practices. In addition, the course aims to train students to become individuals who can conduct risk assessments, prevent contamination, and develop behaviors in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations.
