Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to give general information about solar energy and solar radiation, and to teach the solar geometry, absorption, reflection, scattering and heat generation by solar energy technologies.
Course Content
Solar geometry, Solar radiation, Solar radiation absorption, Reflection and scattering, Calculation of solar energy to the surface, Absorption of solar energy in water, Obtaining and storage of thermal energy from solar energy, Solar energy applications, Shadowing factor and solar energy technologies.
