Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce the public borrowing as an alternative financing method to the budget deficits along with their characteristics and to provide the students with information on this subject.

Course Content

In this course, the reasons of public borrowing, the legal basis and limit of public borrowing, the classification of public debt, public debt management and the effects of public debt are explained.
