Course Goal / Objective

Defination and applications of biotechnology, the use of biotechnology in plant breeding

Course Content

This lesson contains the definition and application areas of biotechnology, tissue culture laboratory organization, embryo rescue and embryo culture, somatic embryogenesis and organogenesis, obtaining haploid plants, protoplast culture and somatic hybridization, plants, gene transfer methods, molecular genetics laboratory organization, DNA, RNA structures Investigation, PCR mechanism genetic markers: morphological and biochemical markers, molecular marker technology and GMOs, and the situation of the world.
