Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to teach students; Equilibrium in objects, Newton's laws of motion, moment and center of gravity, the force of friction, strength of beams and related calculations to be made and the solution of static problems to be encountered in the professional sense.
Course Content
In this course; mechanical principles, unit systems, vectors, moment and axis torque, force pairs, equivalent force systems and special cases, distributed loads, center of gravity of objects, equilibrium and special case equations, mechanical structure systems, meshes, frames, machines, cables and friction forces are described.
