Course Goal / Objective
Introduction and presentation of the statistical concepts and approaches that are need and being using for GIS
Course Content
Basic Statistics concept, sampling concepts, data collection and editing, presenting the data, central trend and distribution scales, probability distribution models, statistical estimation hypothesis, population mean tests, variation tests, regression, correlation, jeostatistics, interpolation and kriging, distance based estimation methods, clasic spatial estimation methods.
