Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this lesson is to teach the basic concepts of biophysics and the place and importance of biophysics in faculty of denstry

Course Content

The concepts of biophysics, the scope and branches of biophysics, the ways and means of transport of matter and energy in living organisms, basic properties of quantum theory, hydrogen atoms, chemical bonds, bond energies, Van der Waals bonds, hydrogen bonds, energy states of simple molecules, universal gas law, heat theory, structure and properties of water, structure and properties of biological membranes, biophysics of radiation.
