Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach students in the master program in the Department of Industrial Engineering to access to information related to their field of study, to set up a work, to obtain data, to evaluate and interpret the information in accordance with ethical rules.

Course Content

Literature search, data collection and assessment, analyze and present the results in writing and orally for the master thesis

LO01 Conducts an independent research on a selected original research problem for the master thesis.
LO02 Obtains all information on the research topic and determines gaps in the literature.
LO03 Formulates an industrial engineering problem in accordance with its objectives.
LO04 Develops new and original methods and approaches specific to this selected problem.
LO05 Evaluates the results of these methods and approaches.
LO06 Presents the results of the study in writing and orally taking into account the ethical values.
