Course Goal / Objective

To offer the up-to-date information about local governments and Turkey application, for students to reach on a basic knowledge level about the role, mechanism and importance of local governments within the structure of public governance, and to gain discussion capability.

Course Content

Local Government Concepts, Qualifications of Local Governments, Authorities and Authorities of Local Governments, Administrative Autonomy of Local Governments, Local Administration Finance, People's Participation in Local Governments, Administrative and Financial Auditing of Local Administrations, Local Government Organization and Personnel and local government bodies and information about their loss
