Course Goal / Objective
Aim of this course is to acquire basic knowledge in the field of Computer Aided Design (CAD) for electronic devices and circuits, familiarizing with FPGA and hardware description languages, design of PCB and understand testing and measurement methods of electronic systems.
Course Content
DC, ac, transient, RF and parametric analysis of electronic circuits using SPICE. Integrated circuits (IC) and computer assisted design of ICs. Analysis and simulations of digital and analog ICs. Introduction to FPGA with VHDL and Verilog hardware description languages. An introduction to Verilog A and VHDL AMS hardware description languages. IC layout and PCB design. Test and measurement methods of electronic systems.
