Course Goal / Objective
Given basic information on soil science and formation of soil. Based on the soil ability to identify the land, land use and soil classification in accordance with the principles of ecological agriculture. Protection of soil against unauthorized use an as well as misuse of soil fertility and plant nutrition alongside the creation of a healthy and balanced plant nutrition programs. Soil as a sources plant and water resources. Soil sustainable use and management is the main focus of the teaching for the students.
Course Content
Stages of the processes of soil formation and soil physical, chemical, biological characteristics, soil microbial activity, pH, lime and plant root systems in nutrient effects on the individual characteristics of plant nutrients and fertilizer for plants. Also the importance of evaluation of land-use.
