Course Goal / Objective

Gains knowledge information about organic farming, the importance and principles of organic agriculture, organic agriculture development opportunities, nutritional values of organic and conventinal products, organic fertilizers, pests, disease and weed control, yields of organic and conventional products to learn information about.

Course Content

Organic farming: past, present and future, environmental pollution, sources of organic fertilizer, organic plant protection methods, biological control, biotechnic control, weed and mulching, organic vegetable production, organic fruit production, organic citrus farming, etc. issues are addressed.
