Course Goal / Objective
Explanation pome fruit growing in the tropic and subtropic regions and to realize its economical importance are aimed.
Course Content
In this lecture, systematics of pome fruit, distribution areas, limiting factors to growing pome fruit, import and production, pome fruit cultivars and their features, pome fruit growing in the tropics and subtropics, pome fruit rootstocks, plantation systems and cultural applications are emphasized.
