Course Goal / Objective
Student will be able to distinguish between basic concepts related to information management, to understand the concepts that are widely used in relation to information in different disciplines, and to explain and discuss the differences between them in a logical way.
Course Content
The conceptual basis of information management and management: modern management, system approach, information, history of information management, information society, knowledge management and language, knowledge management and cognitive science; Information users; Information managers; Theories related to knowledge management; Innovation management; Business process management; Management information systems; Information architecture; Knowledge management and legal framework; Knowledge management and social impact; The future of knowledge management.
